i've always loved ice cream, and before italy, i thought being a connoisseur meant enjoying a tub of ben & jerry's cherry garcia. now, i've been enlightened: gelato is the way! after the first three days, we were quickly able to discern the pros from the poseurs on the gelato scene; and our first priority when we come home is to find a quality gelati to supply our cravings.
