shark!
we went to the aqua world in the bangkok paragon mall. to say that it puts marine land to shame is an understatement. the fact that it's all stored in the basement of a mall makes it even more impressive. they've got a dive-with-the-sharks program for 50$ that i'm sure you can't get away with back home due to the insurance issues, but i had to pass. i wasn't afraid of the shark per-se, i was just afraid of the fact that i can't see without my glasses, which makes it a bit difficult to maneuver without accidentally bumping them in the noggin. ask van about our last trip to mexico and she'll attest that i dove into the ocean with a moray-eel inches from my face.
