first day back to work, arriving in jerusalem to visit and discuss all things "sdm". the new office is much improved over my last visit and it seems to have had an impact on morale (or perhaps an improved sense of organization). not sure where the day went to, but it did feel productive spending a good 8 hours in discussions and white-boarding sessions. but i won't bore you with the details. ;)
jerusalem is quite a majestic city, and the office has an incredible view of all of the little homes built upon a hill.
tried some turkish instant coffee today, and realized that i don't know how to make instant coffee (i get the principles, it's just understanding the magic ratio of coffee to boiling water seems to be elusive). let's just say that red bull has nothing on the turkish coffee which kept me running all day. i'll note that three scoops may be excessive for future attempts. ;)
highlight of the day: ordering a steak for dinner and getting two in return; portion sizes were incredible and food was delicious
