not much happening today, woke up at 5:30 and started the tedious process of catching up from two weeks of vacation. the days generally go by pretty quickly when you have enough work to keep you occupied, but for some reason time seems to be super-accelerated here. you blink and the day is over. was a pretty good day overall, gave a 2 hour product presentation and spent the afternoon fleshing out software designs which always brings an addicting level of satisfaction that drives me to do more. perhaps that's why the day is going by so fast...

highlight of the day: being thanked by yaelle for reviewing/commenting on her document
lowlight of the day: getting home at 9pm and discovering that every restaurant is officially closed
