so i missed my flight from jerusalem to india (by a day); i'm not really sure what went wrong there, but i do know that i've had my head down trying to get work done and have lost track of time. fortunately for me royal jordanian has a good customer service plan (and seems to be hungry for business given that the plane was perhaps 1/3rd full) and allowed me to fly on Shabbat with only a 150$ penalty. that's good, because expedia.ca had the cheapest flight listed at 1400$. yeah, you read that right.
