ROARRRR!
zen can't pass by an excavator without yelling out "ROAR!"; a trait that we cultivated with the bright baby trucks book. similarly a cement truck goes swish-swish and a dump truck goes beep-beeep-beeep and a transport goes zooom. it's absolutely priceless until you're on the highway and have passed the 127th transport truck. but i won't trade it for anything. :)
spent the day in for the most part, but did manage a trek to toys'r'us for a couple of hours of browsing/playing with their overly-priced thomas-the-engine get-up. lots o'hyphens but no apologies. followed that up with a nice mother's day dinner at the keg (only after being advised that reservations ARE strongly advised at milestones on a mother's day... :)
highlight of the day: playing with the thomas the train setup at toys'r'us for 30 minutes without being kicked out of the store :)
