second day back to work, and the jet-lag only set in around 5pm; which is an improvement over 3 yesterday. hopefully i can shake this within the week as it's having a huge drag on me when i get home to be able to stay up and play with zen and van.
bbq'ed some pork chops for my dad's signature bbq pork chop sandwiches with grilled onions and red peppers topped with a mayo-bbq sauce and melted cheese. sounds simple, and it is; but is eternally delightful.

highlight of the day: going for a walk after work with the family on an unusually beautiful nigh-summer evening
