the entire family went to Kanchipuram, a small little village famous for their silk sarees. when we arrived we were a bit lost for directions and finally stumbled on a pack of Chinese people stumbling their way back to a bus like lemmings. some careful eavesdropping revealed they were speaking french which quickly divulged that they were a tour group from Montreal. small world. Anyway, with Van mastering the chinese and me faking the french, we were able to tailgate the rest of the group on a free guided tour of the town!
